Located at 57 - 59 East Lancaster Avenue, in Ardmore, this thrift shop is open Monday - Friday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Penny Wise Thrift shop is owned and managed by the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. They have a huge inventory of a variety of items for your home or business. The showroom is spacious with displays of clothing, articles of artwork, ornaments, furniture, you name it. The Penny Wise Thrift shop gets their merchandise by donations or consignment. Donations are gratefully accepted any time they're open. Clothes on hangers are really appreciated. There is a loading zone on the west side of the building. Blinkers or flashers have to be on while loading or unloading.
